Villa Saudade, a 400-year-old heritage home, was restored and redesigned by architect Rochelle Santimano, whose work was featured in Architectural Digest for preserving the home as a piece of Goan history while adapting it for today’s traveller.

Meet the Founder
Meet Govardhan Damaji, founder of Acaso Living. Born and raised in Pernem, Goa, Govardhan brings over 15 years of hospitality experience to the brand. His journey has always been guided by one clear goal, creating stays that guests remember fondly long after they leave.
Growing up in Goa gave him a deep appreciation for its culture, warmth and tradition of hospitality. That connection inspired him to build Acaso Living as more than a villa rental company. He wanted travellers to experience Goa through private homes with character, local context and a sense of welcome that feels personal.
Today, that belief shapes how Acaso Living is run. Each villa is cared for with attention to comfort, cleanliness, service and guest support, so every stay feels smooth from arrival to check-out. For Govardhan, trust is built through consistency, not just beautiful homes.
